CONFERENCE SCHEDULE

A National Journey in Four Transformative Stages

The National Youth Conference 2025 opens with a powerful message: Nigeria’s future must be a collective endeavour, shaped by the voices and aspirations of all her youth, both at home and abroad. This journey unfolds in four key phases : Virtual Consultation/Policy Recommendations, 360 Federal Constituency Town hall Meetings, Six Zonal Town halls and The National Conference in Abuja , each designed to harness the collective strength of young Nigerians.

Through structured virtual and in-person sessions, including panel discussions, roundtable dialogues, and interactive fora, youth from across Nigeria and the global diaspora come together to deliberate on the Conference’s six thematic pillars (Governance and political participation, Entrepreneurship and job creation, Climate Action and Energy Transition, Education and Seven-Star Skills, Technology and Digital Innovation and, Security and Social Cohesion). These discussions ensure that diverse perspectives are not peripheral but foundational, reinforcing that nation-building begins with inclusion and collective vision.

This conference aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Ahmed Tinubu GCFR’s administration, reinforcing the commitment to empowering young Nigerians, fostering national unity, and driving sustainable development through collective action.

Diaspora Virtual Consultation

Our journey begins with virtual sessions, open to young Nigerians and Gen Z voices both at home and abroad, where they'll engage in key discussions, generate policy recommendations, and shape the agenda from the outset, ensuring inclusive representation and amplifying diverse voices.

360 Federal Constituency Townhall Meetings

Next, the Conference reaches all 360 constituencies, where local youth hold townhalls to discuss challenges, share ideas, and propose solutions—ensuring inclusive participation from cities to rural areas.

Six Zonal Townhalls

Insights from constituencies are synthesized at zonal town halls across Nigeria’s six zones, aligning youth priorities, reflecting regional diversity, and shaping unified policy recommendations.

The National Conference in Abuja

The journey culminates in Abuja with a two-week national conference, where youth delegates, policymakers, and leaders engage in panels, policy labs, and innovation showcases. An outcome document outlining youth-driven solutions is then submitted to President Tinubu.
